In 2026, we are focusing on the health of educators, and the children in their lives.
We know that spending time outdoors and connecting with nature are key elements to maintaining our health. As a result, we are hosting a course each month with a focus on building knowledge and skills for educators and learners that can support well-being:
- February: Inclusive Nature-Based Mindfulness
- March: School Gardening: Play, Learn, Grow!
- April: Social Emotional Learning Strategies
- May: Seeing Ourselves in Nature
- June/July: Connecting to Nature through Indigenous Teachings
We also wanted to draw attention to the fact that Indigenous people’s health is tightly tied to speaking their own languages (learn more). We are offering several more Indigenous language learning courses, and we invite you to join us. These are free for Indigenous participants, and open to everyone.
We work hard to make these online learning spaces as accessible, engaging, authentic, healthy, welcoming and safe as possible.
We invite you to join us!
