Illinois Outdoor Learning Mini-Grants

EEAI mini-grants are awarded each year for up to $350 per proposal.  For example, successful proposal might show that a student field trip to learn about the function and value of wetlands will have more of an impact if supplies, field guides, and equipment are purchased and re-used, and the experience is supplemented with classroom curriculum.

The program is designed to support, enhance, and expand the implementation of environmental and outdoor education throughout the state of Arkansas by classroom teachers and non-formal educators and organizations. Learning Outdoors is fun and versatile.

Every season holds tremendous opportunity for outdoor learning.

I am very excited to have access to local outdoor educational resources which also incorporate local Indigenous content. I cannot wait to use the resources with my students and my own children!
