Seasons of Wonder: A Year of Nature Activities
4 x 1 hour online classes: Wednesdays, May 6-27
This course will help educators discover the signs and stories that each season has to offer.
Join award-winning educator and author Jacob Rodenburg, for an immersive journey through the turning of the seasons. Drawing on more than 35 years of teaching outdoors, Jacob will share engaging, field-tested activities that help children fall in love with the natural world, one season at a time.
Learn how to follow scent trails like a fox, dance messages like honey- bees, sing like frogs, or create simple, beautiful art from found natural materials. Each workshop blends science, storytelling, sensory awareness, and hands-on exploration, giving you practical tools to spark curiosity in schoolyards, neighbourhood greenspaces, or right outside your own door.
Whether you are an educator, parent or simply someone who wants to help children feel at home in nature, this four-part series will deepen your own awareness while equipping you with dozens of activities to nurture wonder all year long.
