2024-2025 Indigenous Presenters for Monthly Virtual Presentations

Offered by an incredible group of Indigenous Leaders, Elders and Educators from across Turtle Island (North America).

  • Participants in all Seasons of Learning will be invited to come together for these Virtual Presentations
  • These will be held monthly on Thursdays at 4pm Pacific Time / 7pm Eastern Time and will be, on average, 60 minutes in length
  • These will be recorded and the recordings will be made available for all participants in the event you are unable to make them.
  • We will offer a Certificate of Attendance for everyone who watches all presentations (either live, or the recording).

Sn̓ʕay̓čkstx (Arrow Lakes Band) and a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes, LaRae is the is the Executive Director and founder of Salish School of Spokane.

3) Jo Chrona

Ganhada of Waap K’oom, is a member of the Kitsumkalum First Nation, a Ts’msyen community.

4) Dr. Gregory Cajete

Presentation Date: December 5, 2024

A Tewa Indian from Santa Clara Pueblo, New Mexico who is the Director of Native American Studies at the University of New Mexico.

5) Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer

Presentation Date: January 16, 2025

A mother, scientist, decorated professor, and enrolled member of the Anishinaabe Citizen Potawatomi Nation.

6) Richard Van Camp

Presentation Date: February 27, 2025

A proud member of the Dogrib (Tłı̨chǫ) Nation and is an internationally renowned storyteller and best-selling author.

7) Christi Belcourt

Presentation Date: March 6, 2025

A Métis visual artist, author, community organizer, environmentalist, social justice advocate, and avid land-based based arts and language learner.

8) Sasha Eugene

Presentation Date: April 10, 2025

Her first gifted home was to the Sexwepmec’u’lecw. By blood she is Kinbasket, Secwepemc, and Russian.

9) Micaela Iron Shell-Dominguez

Presentation Date: May 1, 2025

A Sicangu Lakota, Apache, and Xicana woman who co-founded the International Indigenous Youth Council.
