We are a charitable social enterprise offering excellent outdoor learning training, tools and resources, with 100% of proceeds supporting outdoor learning non-profit initiatives.
If you haven’t completed Season 1: Foundations of Knowledge (or the module-based learning offered by Reconciliation Education) we encourage you to complete this learning first.
This year of learning aims to support you in strengthening your personal connections with, and understanding of, the local Land as a way of allowing yourself to better understand and appreciate local Indigenous knowledge, perspectives, culture and history.
Each year we work hard to decolonize the learning more and more. Season 2 is more reflective, in comparison to Season 1, and will provide prompts to get outside, and ground your learning in your local place.
In this course, we will:
Explore and build our relationships with the Land;
Examine ways of interacting with the Land, and learning more about the Land;
Discuss teaching and learning from the Land;
Learn and share best practices for bringing this knowledge and experience into the classroom or to share with others.
