We invite you to register for all 4 Seasons (years) of learning (one course/year, with four years total of learning). Each year starts in the Fall, and runs until the Spring, with time for reflection in the Summer.
These include:
This year of learning supports participants in deepening their knowledge of Indigenous culture, history and perspectives.
This year of learning aims to support you in strengthening your personal connections with, and understanding of, the local Land as a way of allowing yourself to better understand and appreciate local Indigenous knowledge, perspectives, culture and history.
This reflective and reflexive course will focus on building reciprocal relationships with and between the Land and Indigenous People. We will begin by exploring commonly held beliefs, recognizing the diversity of Indigenous perspectives and the importance of local relationships. Then, we will present a practical guide to protocol and how to move forward in celebrating unity and cultural respect.
The journey for Season 4 is to bring our learning from the past three seasons together and begin to reflect, grow and take action in truth and reconciliation.
This season (year) will be more emergent and decolonized than any of the prior seasons, and will seek to support and empower participants to take action.
