We are pleased to offer a wide range of webinars that can be fully customized to your school board, school district or your organizational needs.
These Outdoor Learning Store webinars are offered by Jade Berrill, our Outreach & Events Manager, and award-winning Outdoor Educator Extraordinaire!
Jade has a vivaciousness for life that ignites everyone around her. She uses this seemingly unending energy to enrich the lives of youth through outdoor and environmental education from science based field trips to rock climbing, mountain biking and outdoor skills camps.
On top of all of this amazing work she co-hosts the Earthly Chats Podcast and writes for several Scientific and Education publications. Growing the outdoor education community, providing support networks for teachers and educators and making sure youth have access to their natural environment is Jade’s top priority.
Jade is a passionate educator and communicator of science. With a BSc (1ST Class HONS) in Physical Geography and Environmental Chemistry and over 15 years experience teaching across 7 countries and 4 continents she is well accustomed to creating and delivering place-based workshops and offerings for educators and students alike.
Building on a love for bringing people together as a mechanism for growth and forward thinking, Jade’s role encompasses organizing events to develop the best opportunities for professional development, networking and educational outreach – engaging students, teachers and decision makers alike. Working with the non-profit Outdoor Learning Store has been a great way to connect educators with the resources and tools they need to embed outdoor learning into their practice.
You can check out Jade’s work in the Earthy Chats Podcast and our Virtual Workshop Recordings.
