GreenLearning is a national non-profit organization that creates free education programs about energy, climate change and green economy, which help engage and empower students to create positive change for our evolving world. These programs include both hands-on and critical thinking activities. All lessons are piloted with teachers and school boards and revised based on their feedback before they are made available.
In partnership with Canada’s Outdoor Learning Store, GreenLearning is pleased to offer Sila and the Land – a children’s book which shares Indigenous perspectives on the land and the importance of preserving it for future generations. The book is also supplemented by a number of learning activities.

Turn youth into energy engineers by challenging them to design, build and test a working model of any renewable energy technology. - Eco 360 (Grades 9-12)
Develop a feasible solution that incorporates a circular economic model eliminating plastic waste from our environment. - Decoding Carbon (Grades 9-12)
Empower youth voices by exploring and proposing a new climate policy for Canada.

Prizes – GreenLearning is awarding a prize of $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place and $250 for third place in each challenge category!
